Planning for Next Year’s Housing

It’s exciting to begin planning for the year ahead. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve the many residents who choose our communities and houses year after year.

As future housing plans take shape, residents often consider whether to remain in their current home or explore other available housing options. Availability, lease terms, rental rates, and occupancy plans can vary by property and unit, so it’s important to review information carefully before making housing decisions.

When evaluating housing options for an upcoming lease term, residents should consider:

  • Unit-specific lease start and end dates
  • Unit-specific rental rates
  • Availability of housing options for the upcoming term
  • Potential roommate and occupancy preferences
  • Moving, storage, and transition considerations
  • Differences in cost between available housing options

Residents who choose to move to a different unit should be aware that lease agreements and security deposits are associated with a specific unit and lease term.

Security deposits for a current lease are handled in accordance with the existing lease agreement and move-out process. Residents leasing a different unit will generally be required to provide a new security deposit and any applicable fees associated with the new lease.

Future availability may change throughout the leasing season as current residents evaluate housing plans and leasing information becomes available. Property Managers communicate with current residents regarding upcoming housing opportunities and availability information is updated as leasing activity progresses.

Because lease terms vary by property and unit, residents should pay close attention to advertised lease dates when comparing housing options.

Your Property Manager is always the best resource for questions regarding housing options, lease terms, availability, or upcoming leasing opportunities.

Information regarding future lease terms, rental rates, and availability is typically released as it becomes available throughout the leasing season, with a significant portion of housing opportunities for the upcoming term traditionally published during the early-to-mid October leasing period.

We appreciate your partnership as everyone plans for the year ahead.
