The down-payment for Charleston Townes is due either at our General Leasing Day when you schedule a time to come back and sign your lease, or, if you were not present at our General Leasing Day, at your lease signing.
Here’s the breakdown:
– Key Fee
The key fee is nonrefundable, and goes toward the owner’s locksmith expenses. Your key will unlock the front door deadbolt AND your individual bedroom deadbolt only. Locksmith’s magic!
– Routine Systems Maintenance Fee
The routine systems maintenance fee is nonrefundable, and goes toward exterior community upkeep and improvements such as: bi-weekly grounds clean-up, snow removal, monthly light inspections, landscaping, bi-annual pressure washing and MUCH more!
– Security Deposit (Refundable)
The security deposit is refundable, pending condition of your apartment at move-out.
The down-payment must be paid check/money order/online payment ONLY. We cannot accept cash payments. You can set up online payments via your account in the payment portal.

Free, Plentiful Parking for Residents & Guests!
Every resident gets a parking sticker, free of charge, upon move in. Each unit also gets 2 guest parking hang tags, that allow their guests to park anywhere in the Charleston lot. Residents and guests can also park across the street in the last row (closest to Lucy Drive) of the Valley Fitness parking lot.
Don’t have a car? Visit for current bus routes. There is a bus stop located directly by the community along Lucy Drive and another bus stop directly across the street on the corner of Lucy Drive and Reservoir Street.

Bringing your furry friend is affordable. There is a down-payment due at the signing of the pet lease; a portion of this is refundable if there are no pet-related damages at move-out. A portion of the deposit is nonrefundable to deodorize & deflea the premises at move-out. The monthly pet rent ranges depending on the size of the pet. If you would like to get a cat/dog, we’ll need written approval from all your roommates (a simple email to the Property Manager is perfect!) before a Pet Lease can be signed.
