Know It All
Defining the heart of the City is the Ice House. The historic structure and additions represent the steady growth of the agriculture in the Valley of Virginia. The need for ice to ship produce to markets grew continually since the 1930’s. During this growth it was here that ubiquitous clear ice and bag ice was invented. Today the structure is repurposed into a mixed-use venue playing off the Farmers Market and many downtown attractions. The residents combine the simplicity of the thick concrete floors and 10 foot high ceilings with unique concrete columns. LED lighting, mini-split HVAC, steampunk fixtures and high end appliances make the most of the interior space. (2). Per-bedroom/resident equivalent amounts are provided for convenience only. These amounts are informational calculations, are not additional charges, and are calculated by dividing total lease charges by the number of bedrooms. This listing is leased as a single dwelling unit and is not available for individual bedroom rentals. The total monthly rent is the actual lease rate. Lease terms of 11.5 to 12 months are billed 12 equal monthly charges for payment convenience. Where applicable, parties to a lease may execute individual lease addenda and guaranty agreements, allowing rent and certain charges to be allocated and billed individually; however, such billing arrangements do not create separate bedroom rentals or alter the lease’s status as a single dwelling unit lease. Monthly Base Rent includes Renter Legal Liability Insurance.
