This page has everything you need to secure your new home. Read carefully and complete each step before Leasing Day to avoid risking your post in line. The link to schedule your Leasing Day Appointment will go live at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8.
Leasing Day Appointments will be held every 20 minutes on Thursday, October 9, from 9AM-5PM. There will be two appointment slots available for each 20-minute time frame, to allow us to best serve you. Appointments are scheduled first come, first served.
ONLY ONE PERSON PER GROUP NEEDS TO RESERVE AN APPOINTMENT ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8. BUT, A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) PEOPLE MUST ATTEND THE IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT AT THE DOWNTOWN MATCHBOX OFFICE ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9 TO RESERVE A UNIT.
The following criteria must be met prior to your appointment:
- Each potential resident must have a completed application with a Guarantor listed.
- Groups of 4 will get priority on unit selection.
Step 1: Apply Online
Prepare for Your Future Matchbox Housing
- Each future resident must complete an online application and list a Guarantor.
- Pay the $50 application fee and submit a valid state-issued ID when submitting.
- Applications are valid for one year and transferable to other Matchbox properties if you don’t secure a lease at Charleston Townes.
- If the application is cancelled after submission the application fee is non-refundable.

Step 2: Schedule a Leasing Day Appointment
Securing Your Townhome
- Remember to complete your application and pay the fee prior to scheduling.
- The form will open on Wednesday, October 8th, at 9:00am.
- Choose a 20-minute time slot on Thursday, October 9 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:40 p.m.

Step 3: Pick Your Unit & Prepare to Sign Your Lease
Before Your Leasing Day Appointment You Should…
- Look over our layouts (below) and know your preferred layout, town home, or location within the community. We encourage you to have 3-4 units chosen, in case your preferred unit is already reserved.
- Know your whole group’s schedule so you can book a Lease Signing Appointment the following week.
- Each group will need at least 2 people (including yourself) to attend the Leasing Day Appointment.
- Please let your Property Manager know DURING your Leasing Day Appointment if you would prefer to take your Lease Signing Appointment virtually.

Step 4: Sign Your Lease
What You’ll Need for Your Lease Signing Appointment
- A completed Guarantor Application.
- Prepay your security deposit and fees on your resident portal.
- The expectation to pay $760 per person in rent each month.
Lease signings will take place October 13–17. All residents must attend and come prepared with their bedroom choices.

All townhomes have the same layout/floor plan with the exception of 13 units that have a slightly modified floor plan. The modification for these units is the front entry door walks into the main level as opposed to the lowest level of the townhome.
