The estimated time of delivery provided by your bank is not a guaranteed delivery date. Matchbox is not responsible for late payments due to delays in the postal service system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr>\n<p>Checks are processed by Chantilly Lockbox. Check processing in our office may take up to 5 business days.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Post date, or the day you mail your check\/money order, does not constitute payment and you are responsible for late fees assessed if we do not receive your payment on time via the postal service.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d2dfea\">Tenants are responsible for ensuring that payments are received on time, regardless of the payment method used. Please note that payment must be processed by the rent due date in order to avoid late fees. This includes payments made through commercial banking \u201cbill pay\u201d services, which often result in a physical check being mailed on your behalf, payments mailed in for processing, and payments submitted to the Matchbox office for processing. Delays in the postal service or processing may result in a late payment and late fees.
